Governors Abdulahi Ganduje of Kano state, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Samuel Ortom of Benue state and three other Governors to know fate later today at the supreme court.
The supreme Court adjourned its sittings to Tuesday January 14 due to the sudden ill health of one of its judges.
Other three Governors whose appeals were delayed as a result of the ill health of one of the justices on the Panel are Emeka Ihedioha of Imo state, Simon Lalong of Plateau state and former FCT minister, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.
The court before then had to suspend its sitting due to disorder and rowdiness in the court.
After the court reconvened and argument on the appeal against Governor Abdulahi Ganduje of Kano state was concluded by Chief Adegbeoyoga Awolowo (SAN), counsel to the appellant, the chief justice of Nigeria Justice Tanko Muhammed announced that proceedings will be adjourned as one of the Justices on the panel is sick.
In Imo both the All Progressive Congress (APC) and All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) are hopeful that judgement will go in their favor.
Governor Tambuwal won the Race in Sokoto with a vote difference of 342 votes after a supplementary elections was conducted.
